Dear Colleagues,
We would like to inform you about a slight change in how QCU cases will be identified and submitted, effective July 15, 2024. This change aligns with the updates to the UCPath Case Submit on Behalf of (SOBO) process communicated in the July CalPath Connect Newsletter.
Key Changes:
As of today, Monday, May 6, 2024, UCPath Center has changed the "Submit an Inquiry" process to make it easier and speed issue resolution. Employees will no longer be required to manually select a topic and category when submitting an inquiry via Ask UCPath.
What's changed?
As part of UC’s commitment to the well-being and security of our community, a University-paid Identity Theft Protection Program through Experian will be provided for all benefit-eligible faculty, staff, and retirees beginning April 1, 2024.
In this Issue
On March 11th UCPath will update how employees submit cases. The new upgrade will simplify the case submission form by increasing the accuracy of how a case is auto-routed.

Impact
Employees may notice negative YTD earnings totals on their pay statements. This issue is limited to the display of information and does not affect actual earnings or hours worked.
