Extended Leaves of Absence - Training Eligibility
The Absence Management training equips Initiators and Approvers with the knowledge and hands-on experience to initiate, update, and extend employee leaves of absence, as well as return employees from leave in UCPath. Learners will also explore reporting tools—including a Cal Answers dashboard and a Cognos report—to monitor employees on leave. This training blends demonstrations, simulations, and practice activities to ensure confidence in both navigation and transaction accuracy. Over time, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of leave processes, recognize common patterns, and anticipate the impact of leave transactions on other UCPath functions.
