Add/Update Your Personal Email and Home Address

Applies to all employees. Deadline to make updates is January 18, 2020.

It’s important to update your personal email and home address in UCPath Online. Whether you are receiving an electronic or paper W-2 form, it is important that your supervisor and the University of California has accurate contact information so that you receive important tax documents in a timely manner.

November 12, 2019

UCPath sends important correspondence, including paper paychecks (if you are not enrolled in direct deposit) and paper W-2s to the “home” address on file in UCPath -- not the “mailing” address. To help avoid confusion and downtime, please ensure that your home address is the place where you want to receive UCPath information via United States Postal Service.

November 1, 2019

If you currently receive your  W-2 in the mail, consider receiving it electronically. It’s fast, secure and environmentally friendly.

Five Benefits of Receiving Your W-2 Online

  1. It’s a secure way to receive your information

  2. Your UCPath W-2 statement will be available earlier than receiving it through the mail, providing you with additional time to prepare and manage your tax filing
