Quarterly meetings hosted by the Berkeley UCPath Operations Team designed to bring together decentralized transactors (in both Departments and Regions) to:

  • connect
  • share best practices
  • centralize processes
  • stay informed about upcoming UCPath changes

Mission

Quarterly meetings to foster a collaborative environment where UC Berkeley’s decentralized transactors can connect, share best practices, centralize processes, and stay informed about upcoming UCPath changes, ultimately enhancing skill proficiency and reducing errors.


Objectives

  1. Connect Decentralized Transactors: establish a regular form for knowledge exchange and community building.
  2. Share Best Practices: for workflows, solutions, and strategies.
  3. Centralize Processes: work towards greater consistency and standardization of processes through discussion.
  4. Reduce Errors & Enhance Skills: contribute to continuous skill development through shared learning and practical insights.
  5. Provide Timely Information: information about upcoming UCPath system changes related to the community.

Meeting Scope

Each quarterly meeting will be coordinated and hosted by the Berkeley UCPath Operations TeamThere will be guest speakers, small group breakout room discussions, and transactor knowledge sharing.


There will be three general components to each meeting:

Spotlight!

  • Guest speaker invited to discuss a chosen policy, progress, project, or pain point.
  • Followed by a small group breakout room discussion to share best practices, resources, and insights.
  • Finishing with a large group voluntary shareback of small group discussions.

On the Horizon

  • Information on future UCPath changes, policy updates, and other relevant information for the community.

Q&A

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) Q&A section at the end to share back answers to questions posed before the meeting.
