There are now only two weeks left before all General Ledger pages in UCPath are taken down for a week as a part of cut over activities for the new Salary Cost Transfer pages. With that in mind, this communication highlights:

• Required training for all existing Direct Retro transactors

• The timeline for implementation, including deadlines to submit and approve Funding Entry and Direct Retro transaction

Beginning on October 31, 2023, the UCB UCPath Operations Team will be offering ten training sessions to get existing users familiar with the new Salary Cost Transfer pages:

As we inch closer to the November release of the new Salary Cost Transfer pages, we would like to highlight:

• New search functionality that will be available with the Salary Cost Transfer pages

• Training requirements and dates for all existing Direct Retro transactors

The current Title Code Web Inquiry System (TCS) has been replaced by the new Job Code Lookup System. This new site will provide a detailed salary plan, grade table/salary range information, and job code details. The new website is user-friendly, adheres to accessibility guidelines, and improves data accuracy.

This message contains important information about an upcoming change to the processing of Direct Retros, including:

• Information about the new Salary Cost Transfer pages,

• New required training for all Direct Retro initiators and approvers.

We wanted to inform you that there have been delays in the updates of Lived Names from UCPath to Berkeley over the weekend. As a result, it may take a few days for your name data from UCPath to be displayed accurately in the campus directory or in campus applications like bMail.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Our teams are working closely with UCPath Center to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

UCPath System is back online this morning, and the upgrade is complete.

UCPath has reported a periodic error message that may occur for transactors. The error message can be bypassed by clicking okay to continue. UCPath is working with Oracle to have this issue resolved.

Please review the resources below for clarity on the UCPath Upgrades going into effect on June 20.

The UCPath system will be down for updates starting at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 16, until 9 p.m. on Monday, June 19. During this time, the UCPath system will be updated to the current software version to help ensure functionality and system potential.
