Training Path

Are you responsible for updating an employee's job data, position data, and recurring additional pay in UCPath? Below you will find the training requirements for the PayPath Actions role in UCPath. Please note, all Initiator access requires completion of the Intro to UCPath course.

Introduction to UCPath

The Introduction to UCPath is required for all UCPath transactional users, regardless of which module(s) you will be using.

This course covers system basics and need-to-know information about how UCPath functions. If you have already taken this course for another module, it will be marked complete in the UCPath Learning center and you will be able to register for the courses associated with this module. 

We recommend closing all other applications and browser windows when completing the training content. 

PayPath Training Courses

Once you have completed the Introduction to UCPath, you may continue to the PayPath courses. 

Courses listed as Required for all users are required for PayPath Initiator, Approver, and Inquiry (view-only) roles. All courses specify which roles they are required for.

PHCMWFA100: Employee Data Inquiry(link is external) 

Web-Based Training, 30 minutes

Recommended for all users

This course provides an overview of how employee data is stored in UCPath and how to view employee information. This course teaches users how to locate employee data pages and components, and how to use the various pages and components to view employee information in UCPath.

PHCMWFA110: WFA Overview(link is external)

Web-Based Training, 45 minutes

Recommended for Initiators and Approvers

This course provides an overview of the UCPath Workforce Administration (WFA) module, introduces the UCPath template, PayPath, and Extended Leaves of Absence transaction processes, and provides a review of the Employee Lifecycle.

PHCMWFAL270: PayPath Transactions(link is external)

Instructor-Led Training through Zoom, 2 part course, 2 hours each

Required for Initiators

Take this course if you will be initiating PayPath transactions, including position data changes, job data changes, and additional pay request. This course also focuses on scenarios involving combinations of changes in relation to position, job data, and additional pay.

PHCMWFAL225: Mass Update of PayPath Actions

Instructor-Led Training through Zoom, 3 hours 

Required for Mass PayPath Initiators

Take this course if you will be initiating mass PayPath transactions. This course also focuses on scenarios involving combinations of changes in relation to position, job data, and additional pay through a CSV file submitted directly into UCPath.

This course requires a minimum of 6 months experience using PayPath Actions.
