Effective Monday, December 12, 2022, UCPath chat requests will prepopulate with the following employee information:
- Employee’s prepopulated first name, last name and employee ID
- Employee’s best contact phone number and best contact email
- Chat subject drop-down menu with options
Currently, users may manually enter employee information on the chat request screen. With the change, employees cannot modify the name and employee ID fields or leave the email and phone number fields blank.
As a reminder, please do not initiate chat sessions on behalf of other employees. Employees may only initiate UCPath chat assistance for their own questions. Please contact UCPath at (855) 982-7284, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, or complete a “submit on behalf of” inquiry via Ask UCPath if you are authorized to submit cases for another employee.
