Job Application System
If you have applied to a position that was in active recruitment at the time of conversion to UCPath TAM, your application was converted and you will still be considered for the position. Do not reapply.
Internal UC Applicants
UC Berkeley staff can access TAM in UCPath Online by clicking on Recruiting Workcenter in the menu on the left, then clicking the UC Berkeley Campus Careers link.
Known Issues for Internal Applicants:
- Some Internal Applicants are receiving a message that they are "Not authorized." Users who see this message should trying clearing their internet cache, or try using a different browser. (9/12/19)
External applicants (applicants who are not current UC Berkeley staff), should visit jobs.berkeley.edu. External applicants will need to reset their password to access the new system. To do so, use your email address as your login, and you will be prompted to reset your password.
Please note: External Applicants will need to reset their password on or after Friday, Sept 26th. This applies even if you have reset your password between 9/4 and 9/26. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Job Postings and Application Review
If you have a position that was still in active recruitment at the time of conversion, applications have been converted and you can now review them in UCPath TAM. Please reach out to your Talent Acquisition Advisor if you have questions about your recruitments.
“View Applications” is the tool to view multiple, complete applications in one PDF, called the Consolidated Application Report. Please note that the “View Applications” action is newly built and still being improved by the UCPath Project team.
Known Issues for Hiring Managers:
- On the first page listing your openings, you will see a number of "Applicants in Process." This may differ from the actual number of applicants, because the count on the first page may be including drafts that haven't been submitted. This has been reported to UCPath Center to research. (10/17/19)
If the file size of the Application Report exceeds Gmails 25MB limit, the report will not arrive in your Inbox. This is a Gmail setting and can not be expanded.Workaround: If you have requested the Application report for a large number of applicants and the report has not come, try selecting half the applicants and requesting the report, then select the other half and submit the report request. (10/9/19)
- The Consolidated Application Report (PDF) may display question marks instead of bullet points. If an attachment is hard to read, you can open the specific attachment for an applicant separately by clicking the “resume” icon. (9/18/19)
- Employees who do not have access to Manager Self-Service in UCPath will not be able to access "My Open Jobs" to review job postings and applications in TAM. Employees who have had one or more employees (including student employees) reporting directly to them between March 2019 and present should have access to Manager Self-Service in UCPath. (9/9/19)
