Become a Volunteer UCPath Trainer

October 18, 2018

Pursue a professional development opportunity and feel good about helping UC Berkeley employees successfully transition to UCPath.

The UCPath Project team is looking for training volunteers to help conduct UCPath classroom trainings. With a variety of campus employees set to transition into UCPath, we need your help to deploy effective classroom training to UC Berkeley employees.

You will bring:

  • A passion for helping the campus transition into UCPath smoothly
  • Knowledge of the current Human Capital Management (HCM) and/or Personnel and Payroll System (PPS)

Benefits: Prior training experience is not required! Training volunteers will gain early access to all training materials, receive classroom facilitation workshops, and become UCPath certified users prior to Go-Live, March 1, 2019.

Time Commitment:

  • Oct - Dec 2018/Jan 2019: 20-30 hours during this period – Volunteers will learn how to use the UCPath system, get all the needed training and tools to make their volunteer experience the best it can be, and improve classroom facilitation skills.
  • Jan/Feb - March 2019: 35-40 hours during this period – All volunteers commit to teaching a minimum of three sessions per course between Jan/Feb - March 2019 and hold at least two office hours post-system Go-Live (March 2019)
